This very pretty cathedral has nice sized Amethyst points with deep Purple color inside the pretty cavity. The front face is polished to expose the neat banding. This nice medium sized cathedral measures 8″ wide x 6 1/4″ x 7 1/4″ tall, weighs over 15 pounds and has a super sparkly-shiny appearance. Very nice!

Amethyst is a purple variety of Quartz often used as an ornament. Upon exposure to heat, Amethyst generally becomes yellow, which some refer to as Citrine or “burnt” Amethyst. It occurs in color from a light, slightly pinkish violet to a deep grape purple. It is widely distributed as a mineral.
