Description

Seraphinite, also known as Serafina or Green Chlorite, is a gemstone characterized by its lovely, deep forest green color, highlighted by shimmering strokes and feathery patterns caused by the mica mineral.

Seraphinite can also be found in different colors, such as blackish green, yellowish green, bluish green, tan, white, brown, red, yellow, and olive.

It’s named after Seraphim, the highest order of the angels, because of the feather-like markings on the stone.

It also comes from the Greek word ‘seraphim’, which describes the celestial being with three pairs of wings.
