AGB519 Here are some very beautiful, medium Brazilian Agate slabs in natural and color enhanced colors. These 1/8 – 1/4″ thick slabs come in various sizes from approximately 3 1/2″ to 5″ and are polished on both sides. These will be sold in sets of 4 slabs as they come from the box. The photo is a small representative of the colors and patterns on hand. Unfortunately, there is NO choice in color or size.

Agates mostly occur as nodules in volcanic rocks or waters containing silica in solution possibly derived from the decomposition of silicates in the lava. The siliceous matter is deposited in regular layers resulting in the banded or striped formation.
