This is an exceptional “Star” Rose Quartz sphere from Madagascar.  It measures 3 1/2″ in diameter, weighs nearly 2 1/2 pounds and has a nice polish. It has a very pretty Purple hue color, great clarity, fantastic inclusions,  “rainbow” reflections and two nice 6 pointed “stars”. The “star” actually has  3-D effect as it jumps off the sphere when it’s set in the right positions in bright sunlight. The first two 3-D “star” photos are an example taken of another sphere. It’s quite difficult to capture the wonder of this 3-D effect on the sphere but the last picture gives you the idea.  A sphere like this does not come around that often, grab it quick!
