This is a very pretty, beautifully colored Poly Chrome Jasper egg. This egg measures 3 1/8″ tall x 2 3/8″ in diameter with a nice polish and is from Madagascar. This egg has a great mix of color found only in the Poly Chrome Jasper as well as an interesting design. Very nice!

Jasper, or spotted stone, is an opaque, impure variety of Quartz that is usually red, yellow or brown in color. Picture Jaspers simultaneously exhibit several variants such as banding, flow patterns, dendrites or color variations. This results in what appears to be scenes or images in a cut section of the Jasper.
