Here is a pretty lamp made from Rose Quartz from Brazil. It measures 3 3/4″ x 3 1/4″ x 6 1/8″ tall, weighs nearly 4 1/2 pounds and has not been polished. This unique lamp displays very nicely, has great clarity, is very sparkly, subtle “rainbow” reflections and comes with a chord and light bulb. A real nice piece.

Rose Quartz is a member of the Quartz family that exhibits a pale Pink to Rose Red hue. The color is usually due to the trace amounts of Titanium, Iron or Manganese in the mass material. Some Rose Quartz contains microscopic Rutile needles which produce an asterism in transmitted light. An all time favorite at the Rock Shop.
