Septarian concretions or septarian nodules, are concretions containing angular cavities or cracks, called “septaria”. Concretions are often ovoid or spherical in shape.

This is crushed Septarian Nodule from Madagascar in various sizes from 3/4″ to 1 1/2″ as it comes from our stock. Septarian will polish best by not mixing with other types of stone and using an additional pre polish step with 1000 grit Aluminum Oxide and requires a special polishing process.
