Appearance: This exceptional sphere has a pretty combination of swirling purple colors with lots of contrasting accents. The black is Aegirine, the orange is Tinaksite and the white is Calcite which fluoresces. UV fluorescent (shot with uvBeast 365nm(nanometer) Black Light UV flashlight).

Charoite is newly found mineral, first discovered in the 1940s and described to the world in 1978. It is found only in Siberia, Russia and is a translucent lavender to purple color. Charoite has a swirling, fibrous appearance and is strictly massive in nature. It is used as an ornamental stone and sometimes as a gemstone.
