Description

Creedite is a rare hydroxylhalide mineral that formed from the oxidation of fluorite ore deposits. It ranges in color from colorless, white, violet to orange. Creedite gets it’s name from Creede Quadrangle Colorado where it was first found 1916. It was later also found in Nevada, California and Chihuahua, Mexico. Other world locations are in Eastern Europe in Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
