Pink Amethyst is a variety of Amethyst (which is a quartz with Iron & Gamma radiation) that crystallizes in the form of masses, prismatic shards, botryoidal, granular, and as a druzy coating. Its pink color comes from small inclusions of Hematite within the Quartz. Pink Amethyst is relatively new to the market and can only be found in southern Brazil.
