Kammererite is a rare crystal valued for its deep purple to violet color, a result of chromium impurities. Beyond its striking appearance, it is known as a “shamanic crystal” for its strong spiritual properties. Named after the Russian scientist August Alexander Kämmerer, kammererite is a chromium-rich variety of clinochlore, a member of the chlorite family.
