This is a very nice Silver and Copper nugget from the Kearsarge Mine, Houghton County, Michigan. The “half-breed” specimen is Silver and Copper in matrix and is very rare native metal combination only found in the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan. It measures 7/8″ x 1/4″ and sits on a plastic base measuring 2″ x 2″ x 1/8″.  These extra nice specimens are getting rare and generally no longer available to the public.
