These tumblers are great for tumbling rocks or for cleaning brass or countless deburring projects.  While many people grind rocks in these tumblers from the coarse grind through the polish stage, others use these tumblers just for the pre-polish and polish stages to prolong the life of the bowl. 

This Ultra Vibe 18 is great for larger material up to 4 or even 5″ but mixing in smaller material or ceramics is a must when doing the larger pieces to maintain good rotation.

If purchasing this tumbler for tumbling brass, at least 6 lbs of corn cob or walnut shell media is needed for the initial load.   While 15lbs of ceramics would be needed for other deburring projects.

Stainless steel media is not recommended for this tumbler.
