This is a pretty, above average quality, gemstone Heart carved from Carnelian. It measures 3 1/2″ wide x nearly 2 7/8″ tall x over 1 3/8″ thick and has a nice polish. This heart has great burnt orange with darker accents on the edges. It has natural healed fractures that add to it’s character. Something different for that special person or to add to the collection.

Carnelian is a red or reddish-brown variant of Chalcedony but also may come in the colors of orange and pink. It is quite common and usually found in translucent pebble form. It is found in several areas of Europe, Iceland and Madagascar.
