Here is a nice vase made from Onyx from Pakistan. This highly polished rock vase has a pretty combination of Green, Creams and Browns with some good banding in an interesting design. The very pretty vase measures 7 5/8″ tall x 2 7/8″ in diameter. It does have some fills and this is reflected in the reduced price. Definitely a one-of-a-kind treasure or makes a great gift!

Onyx is a banded variety of Calcite. The colors of its bands range from white to almost every color except shades of purple, blue and black. It is used for vases, bowls, beads, cabochons and other items. This type of Onyx is found in Mexico and Pakistan. It is often carved, polished and sold in a variety of different things.
