Here’s a fabulous new item, a rare Charoite Polished Slab from Russia. It measures 2″ x 2 3/4″ x 1/4″ thick and has a nice polish. It has a pretty combination of swirling purple and black colors and other accents all in an amazing design. Just pretty to look at and it would make a great gift.

Charoite is newly found mineral, first discovered in the 1940s and described to the world in 1978. It is found only in Siberia, Russia and is a translucent lavender to purple color. Charoite has a swirling, fibrous appearance and is strictly massive in nature. It is used as an ornamental stone and sometimes as a gemstone.
