This slab set of 3 includes: a Flower Stone slab measuring 1 1/4″ x 2 7/8″ x 3/16″, a Dallasite slab measuring 2″ x 4″ x 3/16″ and a malachite slab measuring 3 1/2″ x 2 1/4″ x 1/4″. The slabs all together weigh 0.31 lbs total.

Agates mostly occur as nodules in volcanic rocks or waters containing Silica in solution which is possibly derived from the decomposition of Silicates in the lava.  The Siliceous matter is deposited in regular layers resulting in the banded or striped formation.  It is very unlikely that you would ever find an exact duplicate of any type of Agate, Brazilian or other.

Dallasite is a variety of jasper with distinct crystal aggregates having various green, white and brown coloring.

Malachite is a copper carbonate mineral found frequently in copper deposits worldwide. Limestone often supplies the carbonate necessary to form the malachite rather than other non-carbonate copper minerals, such as chrysocolla
