This is a different item here at the Rock Shed. This is Stromatolite from Wyoming. It will work nicely for cabochons, carvings, specimens and great for decoration. Not every rock you receive will have the “bumpy top” shown in the pictures.
For size reference a fist size piece will weigh approximately 1 pound.
In any 5 pound or larger order, we will select an assortment of small to large fist size pieces for you.
