Description

Arsenopyrite is an iron arsenic Sulfide and is a hard metallic steel grey to silver white mineral. Arsenopyrite also can be associated with significant amounts of Gold and often serves as an indicator of gold bearing reefs. It is often found associated with Loellingite, also spelled Löllingite and from which is hard to distinguish.
