This is a very pretty smaller set of blue (color enhanced) Brazilian Agate Geode bookends with a very unique design and color scheme. This lovely set measures 6 3/8″ wide x 4 7/8″ tall x 2″ with a nicely polished front face and inner surface. It has great color, fabulous banding and gorgeous crystal. You can even turn it around and you have a whole new set!

Agates mostly occur as nodules in volcanic rocks or waters containing silica in solution possibly derived from the decomposition of silicates in the lava. The siliceous matter is deposited in regular layers resulting in the banded or striped formation.
